We are pleased to be a patron of the Chountra Welfare Association UK. The charity was established in 2008 and was officially registered with the Charity Commission in November 2015. It provides free education to the disadvantaged children in the village of Tatral in Pakistan. At present approximately 175 school students and 35 Mudrassa students have the benefit of free education. The organisation has also become a source of employment for many local individuals who may be the only breadwinner in the family.
We do not charge fees for document certification and witnessing signatures and encourage clients to pay the relevant amount to our charity box. Through this we have collected more than £10,000.00.
We also take pride in stating that we have provided free legal services to charities in the UK, which included acting, free of charge, in conveyancing and expensive litigation disputes. There have been occasions where we even paid charities’ disbursements ourselves.
We have provided advice to the community on TV and Radio programmes. Our Mr Chaudhary has been providing free weekly advice during drop-in sessions every Sunday at his local community centre, Croydon Mosque and Islamic Centre for over a decade. In the last 15 years, hundreds of people have benefitted from his weekly sessions.
The above is just a reflection of a few of our charitable and pro-bono work but we intend to go beyond this and wish to help the community as much as possible, as we believe it is worth living not just for yourself but for others. If you want to be part of our team and help the community then please contact us.
